All of your skill trees could level to 99, and akara sold skill books, meaning if you ever got stuck, you could grind for permanent buffs to make yourself stronger. Andarials soul gave you +2 to poison nova. A fallen shamen soul gave you +1 to resurect and +2 to fireball. Kingdom of tenia - this one moved all your skills to your inventory and added tons of unique skills, it was very interesting playthrough and I recommend it just for the novelty.
